How to Change your Password

Most new Smartphones have a powerful enough browser to follow these steps directly on your mobile phone. Once the password is changed, please remember that your Yahoo! password will apply to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it will be valid not only for Yahoo! Mail, but also for Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Finance, and all of Yahoo!'s Mobile services. Please be sure to make the necessary updates on your mobile device as well.

Next, please follow the prompts that you are given.
After you have entered the CAPTCHA code provided, you will be presented with options on how you would like to receive a URL that will help you receive your password, please choose the option that is best for you.
Please keep in mind that the URL you are provided will expire after 24 hours, if more than 24 hours lapses since the URL was issued you will need to request a new URL going through the same process as before.
if you cannot change your password using the steps outlined above please change your password from a desktop computer.

When you are filling out the Customer Care form please provide a detailed description of your issue that is at a minimum of 100 characters. If you do not provide at least a 100 character description the form will not be sent to customer care.
